Return-to-Work: Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is favorable for our Permanently-Restricted RTW Program and our Transitional RTW Program.
In Pennsylvania, we also create EPA reports, otherwise known as Labor Market Surveys. We also obtain physician approval for jobs sourced.
A brief outline of our RTW process for permanently-restricted** Pennsylvania work comp claims is below:
- Confirmation of referral within 2 hours
- Workfinders contacts attorney/claimant to schedule initial Return-to-Work Assessment
- Return-to-Work Assessment created, submitted to all parties
- RTW program begins
- All job leads sent to claimant and attorney simultaneously
A brief outline of our RTW process for transitional Pennsylvania work comp claims is below:
- Confirmation of referral within 2 hours
- Workfinders contacts local charities/non-profits
- Transitional placement scheduled, all parties notified
- Follow up on placement same-day
- Weekly timecard retrieval and reporting
**Adjuster needs to provide the NTRTW (Notice to Return to Work) form along with referral. Also, blind labor market surveys are not permitted in PA. Our counselor must conduct an initial intake meeting with each PA claim**
